Hello, everyone- and welcome to our blog!
Three weeks ago we received a call from our agency letting us know about a little boy from India who needed a home. Since then we have been busy preparing for his arrival. We hope to travel this weekend to New Jersey where we will spend a week getting to know each other before coming home. His name is Valmik and he is four and a half years old. He already speaks some English and we hope he will fit right into the pre-k class where we work. We are excited about this and thankful for God's provision!
We hope to keep the blog up to date as we get to know each other and become a family. For now, here are a few items for prayer.
Please pray for:
1. Safe travel for the three of us and creativity in thinking of fun things to do together each day which will help us get to know each other without overwhelming Valmic.
2. Our students and their substitutes.
3. A smooth adjustment into a new home and school.
4. That we will be loving, wise parents, able to lead a little one to Christ.
5. That Valmik will love piano music and going to the beach!
